I am who I am now in part thanks to a man named Alastair Sooke – you might have seen him on the telly? Well I saw him in 2010, and he cried in a chapel designed by Matisse and managed to set my future in motion. I went to that chapel 2 years later – I might have cried but I can’t really remember – and the following year I found myself where I’d always dreamt of being. So I made these the first opportunity I had.
Thanks Alastair, here’s to you.
